Project Role: Data Centre Architect

Project Details: This is a Tier 3 data centre that will be used as a colocation for other health authorities throughout the province. As the data centre architect, we provided guidance for the design of the data center envelope, including cooling, fire protection and suppression, power, communications, security, seismic and structural requirements specifically tailored to meet the client’s needs at this mission critical facility. Our design included a polargy heat containment solution that contributes the high energy efficiency of the data centre. We also employed data centre environmental monitoring that allows the client to monitor the power, cooling and other infrastructure throughout the data centre.

Project Completion: Phase 1 completed in 2020
